Autoglym

Just spent the past couple of hours Autoglymming the interior of the Mitsubishi as I didn't fancy doing over 1000 miles in the state it was in. It even got the crayon out of the headlining and the car has a pleasent lemony smell now.

Mmmm nice car interior smells... the van I used to deliver flowers in always smelled lovely :)

My old Escort smelt strongly of wax crayons.

My P6 and W123 both had that strange "old car" smell.

My Ti always smelt kind of strangely sterile.

Anyone who's owned an original mini will know the interiors smell of petrol :)

I'm being lazy. Car is booked in for a valet. Then again, its got 2=20 years worth of kids s**te and mess in it so I think its a bit beyond a=20 quick wipe over. Getting seats shampoo'd as well.

=A340 for in and out. A bargain if you've seen the state of my car.

I had an Escort van once that had been used for delivering soap. Had it for over 2 years, but the pleasant smell of perfumed soap was still there when I sold it. Mike.

And now you've got 1000 miles driving with kids to return it to a vomit speckled mess? :-)

(actually, having a nice smelling car is probably likely to encourage the kids to keep their lunches down - ooh, memories of long holiday drives...)
