Just noticed lots of cheap golf bits (ie, fogs) on fleabay, coming from HK. Works out £25 rather than £45 for Hella off ebay or £80 from ECP etc. Anyone had any of this gear and got any idea of the quality? Obviously not going to be german standards, but as long as it doesn't drop to bits...
I have bought a few electronic bits from HK and it's always been good quality stuff but never anything like fogs.
Usually Chinese manufacture (HK is just a port really).
Quality really varies; the best is as good as German but the worst is awful.
I'm off out there again soon - any ideas where they're based in HK and I could check.

A friend imported a turbocharger from China, Garrett T35 clone and had it checked out. The turbo engineer was taken aback and said it was better than the original.
Obviously this isn't always the case, some stuff I've imported and he's imported has been shocking!
very true when its done right the stuff can really be quite good..
