What is your problem, Dork?
I have two groups of my own: One in Yahoo and the other is in Google. Nobody is stopping the big mouth WillBrink, the muscle bound Geek, from doing anything.
Just thought that you might want to know. :)

WillBrink, says that there is only nuts and idiots in smn.
Why don't you tell Will what you think of him. :)

Well, invasion is always possible. ;-)
It is also possible to find a few gems amoungst the pebbles....
Being a big believer in "nutritional" therapy and alternative health care, I'll probably reserve judgement overall until I have been here awhile and will probably drop back to lurking.
I know that modern medicine and common sense must be balanced, along with balanced nutrition.
I talked to my Dr. tonight about the issue finally and here was her advice as she agreed that an increase in Cortisol was the most likely problem:
Cut carbs (I've already done that) Cut calories if possible, (but I'm already at 1,000 to 1,200 per day so that's probably unwise) Increase exercize. Probably my only option. I've just got to burn more calories somehow!
I've considered fasting for a week maybe. I know I can do that, but only if I get desperate and I'm getting close! :-P Either that or lack of sleep is messing with my brain.
My work schedule continues to suck. I worked a swing tonight, then I am working two gravyard shifts the next to days, one day off, another swing, then two days on 12 hour graveyard shifts! Then another day off followed by 4 swings.
This is probably going to continue for the next 2 months until we can train another night person.

Amen to that, was thinking those exact words when I visited there earlier today! Well, nearly those exact words, a bit more swearing ...
Ahh once again proving that you belong at sci.med.nutrition it's current incarnation(lets hope the SCI makes a comeback soon) ahem ... Mr Brink suggests that the lurkers, posters and trollers of S.M.N.are less than scientific and you disprove this how? By posting that you have two groups, which, whilst neither here nor there, is most definitely, absolutely not scientific in any fashion, in fact it is more like a "grown up" version of the favoured childhood comeback of "shutup! you are!" You are of course right, nothing appears to be stopping Will from do anything, in fact I think you will find he does quite a few things... or maybe I majicked or photosynthesised that info on creatine, ooh and the stuff on whey protein, and.... etc ad nauseum...but I believe his point is that the name sci.med.nutrition implies that the content and discussions are of a scientific, medical nuritional nature, not wild speculation and individual experiences of a dubious nature....or I could be wrong, maybe the sci stands for scintillating... and the med for mediocre.... or something
I read this to mean that Joanne's dick is much bigger than David's imaginary one....
Now, that is a real science comment.
Ha, ... Hah, Ha! Both of you Dick Brains belong in MFW along with your penis enlarger THREADs.
Both, of you Dorks can start your own moderated Science group anytime one of you lazy arses gets off your butt. :)
Just thought that you might want to know.
You stupid.
More so than zero studies, which is what you have shown.
Seth
. . .
That will probably increase cortisol.
