Heh. I don't think I'd do that to an Uno. But I do often have thoughts about a Webasto for the 75, but that would f*ck up it's usefulness as a track car, really.

Heh.

What made oi larf later on, was when he was talking about the time he got done for speeding, he mentioned the words "432 bhp". LOL.

It's a nice colour. Actually I don't understand why people don't like the green that your Passat is in, I like it...

Maybe I have a thing for green now? :)

I kid you not, the last turbocharged Ka I had a look at didn't have an awful rattly smokey 1.6 CVH under the bonnet...

...but a 1.4 from the Uno...

The owner was fed up with it, taking it to garages and them being clueless. Ford wouldn't touch it, Fiat wouldn't touch it, strangely enough... ;)

He was on telly. If you were in his shoes, 18-19 yr old with a Punto, would you be saying "Oh, um, it's not what it's insured as"?

The way it revved seemed to suggest either it was utterly shagged, or turbo.

Rev, pause, rev a bit more.... pause...

Yeah, I suspect he'd dropped a turb lump in.

To be fair, he wasn't the sharpest tool in the box, so it wouldn't surpise me if he had have let it slip.....

Don't see the point myself. But it takes all sorts.

If you want a Punto turbo, just buy one, ffs!

You first you irritating little rodent.

He said it was a 1.2. At first he said 113bhp i thought, then later he said

132bhp.

Scousers don't have to be taught how to hotwire a car, they just *know*.

It's probably not insured anyway as he has a ban for doing 106mph.

106?

He must have had *something* done to it then....

only you and your delusional world of multiple personalities Brian. Now stick it up your Arse and piss off.

"Its the NOZZZZZZZ, gotta have NOZZZZZZZZ"

Er, Punto Sporting 1.2 16v is 9.9 seconds claimed 0-60. I know, because I appeased myself by repeating "It's quicker to 60 than a Golf GTI" (which it was. On paper).

Richard

I actually think they're a cracking little car. Really fizzy engine, and better handling than people give them credit for.

I very nearly bought a nearly new MkI Sporting, but the dealer was £200 away from the price I wanted to pay.
