Sell one of your kidneys, or if you have a spare kid, sell it to scientific research or into slave labour?
In article , snipped-for-privacy@hotmail.com=20 spouted forth into uk.rec.cars.modifications...
Why not see about entering the Scumball 500 then.
Google for it, might be the kind of even you could afford. Otherwise, do the Staples to Naples

WTF? How much was it last time?
It does explain why its not full of Kevved up Novas.
What plans? - i.e. what car?
Yeah but to be fair if it was a grand then that would still take care of most of them.
I think it was around £3k.
Thought it might be fun to do in a Westfield.
You couldn't pay me enough money.
It migt be memorable, but it also has the potential to be utterly miserable if the weather turns grouchy. No ta.
Trust me, if you can't afford to blow 10k (which IIRC includes hotels and a serious party) you can't afford the rest that goes with it (bribes, fines, repairs, fast car). My mate did one a couple of years ago - fuel bill was huge let alone anything else, and many people end up with blown / written / impounded cars to pay for.
Just ask those reyland cossie guys.
I think that's only the price if you get as far as Spain.
