Wheat beige, ffs. Get it right, man.
It's actually quite a nice colour in the flesh.
However, I thought my Marea was a nice colour, so I'm no barometer for taste.
Christ I just can't imagine the thought process that would get to choosing that colour...
"Shall I have black... no.... silver... no.... how about a nice blue.... nah, I know what I want, I want BEIGE!"
See, the problem is in the naming.
Alfa did the 155 in a fairly similar colour, but called it 'platinum', which made it quite popular.

I know! Remember chocolate brown? It's like that Skoda Roomster thing. Not only did some designer think it was a good idea, some idiot on the street agreed and bought one. I saw it the other day!
Nothing wrong with a Roomster.
Think of it as a Berlingo with trim that doesn't fall off.

Steve, I know you have taste issues (Alfa 75*) but Skoda must have been on a combination of speed and crack when they penned the Roomster.

I nearly bought a 33 Cloverleaf once.
Carbed or 16v EFI?
The 16 valvers are a proper hot hatch - not the lardy, overweight, floaty-bloaty barges that are fobbed off on us as a 'hot hatch' these days....
Same box as my 155 narrowbody. It was OK, but not as good as a VAG box, for example.
Even the 156 box isn't great.
(Long throw, notchy, but didn't have the usual synchro crunch)
Can't remember TBH. This was in 1996. I'm sure the car was on a G plate if it makes a difference? I didn't buy it in the end because a section of the NS side skirt was missing.
That same week I failed to buy an AE86 off a guy from work...
With a decent trim level - alloys, flaps all round and in a nice metallic I think they look quite "eye catching".

Most things with flaps round can be quite eye catching...
G plater is almost certainly an 8v twin-carb. Very snorty.

specially if they include ping pong balls.
