Heh, that'll be Marske then. The only people I know vehement about not living in Brid live in Marske.
I have never even heard of Marske :) I just claim not to live in Brid cos i've seen what its like and didn't want anyone associating me with it ;)
I live nearer Scarborough, and just outside Filey.
Could well do - I know that the new shape RS6, with the FSI engine, has around 580bhp, though I did read in one magazine (Autocar I think) that it had 600.
Talking of Audi ride quality, occasionally I've been getting a little annoyed with the ride quality of mine, and also the turbo lag around town, but then again, that's countered by the fact that it's a superb motorway car. Also, sometimes I long for more armchair like and less sporty-like seats, but I had them in the Carlton, and all that happened was me getting fed up of the wallowyness of them. And I had the smooth ride quality in the Omega, but I much prefer the Audi's handling (it's not razor sharp, but pretty good for a big car), so I've come to the conclusion that I'll never be completely happy, so for the time I'll be sticking with the Audi (current plan is to keep it for another 8 years and then get an 8-year old new shape A6 Avant for a similar price I got mine for).

Ach Noooo... My ex-boss lives just round the corner from there.... It was probably OK before he moved into the area and lowered the tone. Bloody seppo.
Mr Chu? Our local lefty restaurant owner - been there twice (for parties) sent back food every time - it's crap. But then it just proves that he has no taste. Like most people who drive... er... oh... sorry.....
He lives about 15 miles away from me. I've never met him. Tend to find people are different face to face than they are on Usenet - Dervman excepted.
No. He's nearer me than that.
Yes, that's what people from Marske say.
Missed Top Gear. Is it repeated on BBC THREE or FOUR?
sometimes it is uploaded to alt.binaries.multimedia if you have access to it and a fast connection.
I'll be there at the end of the month Tim - random Microsoft Outlook course at IT Interface (just behind the Kingswood Restaurant).
With 500BHP and more "torque" than this newsgroup it's probably pretty damn savage. Oh and didn't it do really well on Top Gears test track? Anyone remember the time?
