I quite like the idea of them in the sun blind screens. I've often thought it'd be handy to have one linked up to my laptop (possibly via bluetooth if possible), and some form of custom keypad somewhere not too far from the steering wheel so that I can have a handy navigation screen. I've got a progam called Memory-map navigator (done by the A-Z map people) which has got a scrollable map of the whole of London, right out to the M25 and a bit beyond in some cases (including the central London section with one-way streets etc.) and to have that on a sun visor would be absolutely ideal.

Talking of the custom keypad, basically what I'd need is something very simple - just the following keys: "+", "-", "I", "O" and the 4 arrow keys. Is this possible to do via bluetooth?

I've seen people take keyboards, and just use the keys they wanted, make up a custom board for the switches and then use Girder

Of course if you only need a few switches as buttons, there is nothing to stop you using normal switches with Keyboard tops, wired through the serial port, and making controls in girder using the serial port plugin.

Well the boost controller and fuel cut defender have obviously yielded his increase in power, just find it all a bit, well, mundane. Yet its obviously enough to get in lax power, the saxo boys must love it :D

Reply to

boost controller and fuel cut defender normally only get it to 260-280 so he's probably added a few bhp to it as you need a bigger ic once you start upping the boost more, standard injects on a rev 3 are good for 300-400 horses
