anyone know how hard it will be to pick up a 1.6 16v lump for a 2001 megane :)
got me a ragtop megane with a dead engine (snapped belt at motorway speeds = easier to put another engine in.
i presume its the same as any other ford/vaux just pick up a similar 16 16v and plonk it in and wire up? or are these likely to have some sort of god awful quirkiness about them?

Not hard if you make the effort to look. Do you want to buy one? Or do you want everyone else to get phone numbers and arrange a deal for you. I'm happy to get you the engine if you really do have the money to pay and are not the usual timewaster.
