mod garages london

Hi,

Are there any mod garages in London.

New in London and not sure of the lay of the land.

Have a VW golf bought cheap needs some work and need the right people on the job.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Mod garages? As in Ministry of Defence, or as in mods as in mods and rockers?

Anyway as much as I enjoy this banter back ontopic anyone know of decent reputable places in London or not to far away for professional modifications.

Couple in Whitehall, there's bound to be one at Northolt. I think if you read Chapman Pincher you'll find there are several underground ones as well.

Try arround St Albans. Bit out, but a few places arround there. Can't remember any definate names, but I think R-Tec are there. They are the sons of the bloke who started Rippspeed when it was a decent chain of stops, rather than a tarts handbag brand for Halfords.

Seconded. I've been to R-Tec and that place has EVERYTHING. It's like walking into the shop out of The Fast and the Furious, no really. They had a 26" Tyre in there and it was something like =A3700 - for one tyre...
