this stuff is like glop from the word go do you recall the police using glue to catch crims? this stuff is the stuff they use sets like rock after 24 hours but even getting it onto your fingers causes you a few days worth of hassle imagine what it would do to paint work.................

Two things never to do. Do not fill someones front and back door locks with expanding foam during the night. Do not silicone up the doors of a house you are "looking after" for someone.

Couldn't they just say that they came by the manuals at some point in the three years since? They might not be able to prove where they came from but they probably don't need to.

Possibly, but there's the whole beyond reasonable doubt thing. These manuals are pretty rare, and the garage that denied any knowledge of having these very manuals in its posession back when the police were informed the first time, are now selling an *identical* set on ebay. I'd say that, beyond any reasonable doubt, they're guilty as sin.
