Well, bought myself a car! Hardly a flying machine, but does what I need I reckon:
Peugeot 306 1.9 TD Meridian. S reg with 51k on the clock. FSH with the cam belt done at 46k. AC works fine and it drives great...

Opinions on one of them please after you have some miles under your belt, an chance for bits to fall off.
Aye, I'll give it a few weeks, once it's been up and down the motorway a few times and let you know! If stuff goes wrong then I'll probably be bitching on here before then, lol...
Definitely use the a/c whenever possible. My 306 was constantly losing pressure from the compressor pipes, even though the garage could never find a leak...

My Grandad had a Meridian 1.8 16v, iirc it was a very nice trim level. Nice cars, 306's of this this late vintage are usually pretty well made (excluding the Cab's as they were made by Italians....). The only thing i'd put against it was the glovebox was too small :D
