New car (to me anyway).

My new project arrived Saturday in the pissing rain. :-(

Took me half an hour to empty the masses of spares and stuff out of it.

Anyway since first seeing it and buying it I've the paperwork for it and rather than it being a 1.6 as I thought Tim Stiles Racing have fitted a 1.8 in it along with a Jetex system, Ansa manifold, bigger vented discs, Boge suspension kit etc.

Do I need to send the V5 back when I get the full version and change the engine number and size for it to be legit. when I get it back on the road? Insurance, tax etc.

Take a month to sort the massive folder of previous paperwork out for it. :-)

My V5 has the actual engine size on it, not what the car began life with.

Course, rules change, you can ask DVLA by email and hopefully know what they want you to do about it before necessarily revealing who you really are. It may even say on their website.
