Observation on a Saab 900 se

Apr 10, 2004 2 Replies

popping to the shops and following a Saab 900se... when my daughter asks "Why do they name a car goose?" well I'm totally at a loss to comprehend this...

...till she points to the rear of the Saab 900SE goose? (remembering the font on the back.... makes it look even closer to goose)

wonder if that's why Saab changes to 9-3 n 9-5. lol

well it gave me a chuckle (and made me think of Shaun(meatball)

Nope Carl's Meatball, Shaun is still Shaun, and not around very often. We just both had Skodas. Shaun had a Felicia, I had a Favorit, and a 120L Estelle, and used to be called Skodapilot.

Shaun went onto have a BMW which he broke. Haven't heard from him for a while.

BTW, the 9-3 and 9-5 is to differentiate them from the 92, 93, 94, 95 "Vintage" models, the 99 (baby 900, nice car) and 90 (half 99, half 900)

Some friends of ours had at one point a 900se and a 9000 carlsson.... Nicknamed them Goose and Babboon after reading the badges at a glance!
