Oh bugger, the things you do when you have had a drink.

No one anywhere *near* as exciting as him!

Miaow!

Ah got confused by the Saab/Cit thing. He liked the BX GTi too and played with them as much.

The way it was told to me was it was much more laggy and vicious coming in, but not as much of it, so less potential for damage.

Maybe the APC'd ones aren't as bad as the pre-APC'd ones if the APC helps smooth delivery to keep things together.

Or you could go for this pair if you've got the space (predictable coming from me....)

That's about it, but I think the gearbox on the T8 has the earlier type bearing problem.

The gearboxes are s**te anyway, turbo'd or not. Even the 900s non- turbo I had had a shagged 3rd gear, one of the T16s had a shagged reverse and noisy 2nd, and two of my mates who had 900s both had knackered 3rd gears too.

Miaow!

Buy it and we'll go to the christening in it on Sunday!

Miaow!

Add me to the list of those that might have it if you dont wanna keep it! Need to get rid of the SD1 soon and will be looking for a cheap runabout to smoke around in.

The SD1 is going? Bugger. Has the Chim stolen your affections?

I can't see it being that much cheaper to run than an SD1. Economical they aint..

Miaow!

My affections and my wallet! I knew I'd have to choose eventually and I want to keep the TVR whilst I've got the opportunity to own something silly. I'll have another SD1 later down the line, but for now I want to do some work on the TVR and need a cash injection!

They can't be worse than the SD1! Besides main reason to sell the car is to release the cash tied up in it so I can use it elsewhere, so just need something cheap to replace it with to use as a vaguely sensible car.

Pah, SD1s aren't that bad on fuel if they're set up right, and I've not really had to buy anything to keep either of mine on the road.

But you bought yours working, mine was a bought as a project and has loads of money ploughed into it to get it roadworthy. I need that back to spend on the TVR!
