Engine starts and runs but you wouldn't trust it. Front wings need welding onto the A pillars properly.

fronts wings are bolted on, no welds involved rears are bolton too.

Front wings on a Beetle don't go anywhere near the A Pillar. Not even at the bottom trailing point. And they bolt on too.
