OT: Bluetooth Car Kits

Ah, can't bring myself to buy a Maplin or pikey one ;)

But I trust Parrot to give decent sound quality on the handsfree, so I reckon I'll got for the RnB.

I've had a CK7W in the Zafira for a year now and never had a problem. I self-swapped the cradle when I upgraded the mobile, and removed it all together and went bluetooth when we switched to K800i's back in October.

Still working as perfectly, same as when it was first installed.

I probably will to when the time comes. Especially if I end up with a phone that does GPS.

I'm trying to 'persuade' work to upgrade me to an SPV M3100. If it supports two active bluetooth channels I'm laughing, otherwise I'll swap the bluetooth receiver in my car for the wired one in the Zafira and use that again. The bluetooth receiver can go in the Zaf because I won't be pairing the SPV up with it's car kit (my personal phone is paired to that).

I think the R'n'B can support pairing upto 5 phones.

It sure does, b ut I'm not sure whether the M3100 can support simultaneous bluetooth connections to multiple devices.

Ah OK.

Might be a moot point now anyway, my boss says I can't have one due to the cost. Though someone's just joined the department who has one and doesn't like it, so I might try for a swap...
