They are, It is touches like that, that make me want one. But this one has gone too rich. My limit was =A32100 and it still hasn't reached reserve.

The convertible 900 I wqas watching at the weekend was like that. No reserve. At 8 minutes to go, it was at =A32400 At 6 minutes to go, it was something like =A32649.08 (my limit was =A32500) I stopped watching at 30 seconds and it was still the same. I looked=20 again afterwards and it had finished at =A32900. Last few seconds much=20 have been crazy.

There is no point in bidding on Ebay with more than 30s to go.

I have them too, but they're under the padded leather "beam" beneath the two rear buckets :)
Er, £3000 with 130,000 miles ?
You could get *TWO* same-year 60,000 mile TIs for that !
Personally, I'd much rather have the SAAB.

"Nom in predictable post shocker" :-)
Peter
You'd rather have the SAAB, than the half-mileage 620 TI and £1500 in your pocket ?
Why ?
I'm just telling it like it is :)
It seems a HUGE amount of money to me !
I hate the stiching on the seats and the fact that it is front wheel drive. Other than that it is a nice car.
Fraser
And you would need them both :)

What for ?
Are you buying one for your missus too ?
Well, you'd either need 2 or a couple of spare gearboxes :-)
Everytime this pops up, i ask someone to post a link to any incident where a Ti gearbox has actually blown. And no one has ever managed it...
Out of the what, 5 Ti owners we've had in here, none of them have had it happen either...
Er, Um, Lordy's current TI is getting it's gearbox rebuilt as we speak !
Doh !
It's nothing significant that busts - it's just the plastic-raced bearings.
As long as you replace them with steel jobbies when they start to go (fairly cheap and simple), then the box will last as long as on any other car.
So all you'd need would be a couple of spare sets of bearings, and a handy gearbox man :)
That's me told then :D
