The full version is only $99. It's worth it for the tech support alone. What do you need in the full version which isn't available in the shareware version? JB
I think you can scan everything as opposed to one by one ?
The shareware version doesn't describe all the errors, only provides you with an error number. Also, you cannot save any parameters in the shareware version.
That's right, I remember now. The shareware version gives a desc of the first error code but only numbers after that. I suppose the benefits of buying it or getting a cracked version depend on what your use is likely to be. I look after a few VWs/Audis for friends and I need VAG-COM for my own T4 TDi anyway. It paid for itself the first time I used it.

I think he means in the irish term "whats the crack", not where can he get a crack.
I dunno if there's an official distinction, but I'd be inclined to use "craic" for that to avoid confusion.

Nah, if it was downloaded throught the usual channels, rather than the official site, the crack is normally included anyway ;)
