Fess up.

This message typed on a Compaq Armada 1750 P2 366 with about 384mb or so of Ram I have other, better, ones but I use this one most.

I use a Toshiba Satellite pro p166 with 256MB RAM and a 6GB hard disk,

1999(?) home. Tpying this from work on a brand new HP NC6400, which is s*it.

What's s*it about it?

cheers, clive

Nothing slower than 1.6Ghz in the Payne Stables.

I have an iBook 366MHz doing service as a print and file server in the spare bedroom, but also have a Newton laptop thingie which can do interwebby stuff.

I'm not using it this minute, but I still have a PowerPC 6100 16/512 upstairs with a 66MHz processor, and it's the one I use for my accounts and for email. It also has an internal board with a 66MHz 486 on it, which still works and I can run games like Magic Carpet on it. Although the problem is that it's a bit fast for MC, which worked better on a

25MHz 486.

I once tried running MC on a 2.33 GHz Core 2 Duo.

Hilarious.

In summary GAME OVER

It's made out of poor quality plastic, the keyboard seems to be cheap and nasty and they seem to be unreliable. We've bought around 100 at work this year and sent 22 back at last count.

Compaq Professional workstation 5100. twin pentium pro 200, 192meg ram, 9gig scsci HDD.

Was my home server web/mail/firewall etc. But then I got given a p3 1hgz Compaq SFF little dinky thing, so that has taken over.

I bet it still kicks the s*it out the old ThinkPad R31 I have. 1.2GHz Smellyron, but with 128MB RAM. I'm determined it'll run XP, but even with all niceness disabled, it still takes nearly 30 seconds to draw the start menu :(

I don't use it but still have a IBM 286 8MB RAM with a 80 MB HDD Running Windows 3.11 and DOS 5.0 Get In!!!!
