You need this for Whitby.

If I had the room and money I would have it.

Nothanks, I don't want to grow tomatoes in the back of my car...

Argh, you can't even grow tomatoes in it, it's been blacked out!

I hate British hearses, unless Horse Drawn and pre-Victorian ;)

It needs hood irons, covered sides, and to be >24ft long before I'll call it a hearse ;)

Richard (who is, naturally, Not Liked by the people who show up in Granada hearses at Whitby expecting people to consider them "uber").

COme on. It is coach built chassis, with Carlton/cav running gear, beetle front end and bus wheels with hub caps. It is fairly unique. Not like someone just bought an old one straight from a funeral directors and drove it about is it.

And I love the chain link/spider web steering wheel.

If the interior was better, and they'd made an effort with the back end, it would be interesting - but I expect it will overheat in short order, looking at the radiator location!

It's the glass I don't like, though. And lack of chrome. You should see Japanese hearses, they're OTT.

Real Goths drive Vauxhall Vivas and Victors...

That is awesome. Is that someone from Lordi (Eurovision winners) in the driving seat? That'd suit them to a T.

And Eagle Quest? Is that basically the Carlton Limo? Hmmmmmm

Bad form, etc etc, but I meant "Hearse", not Limo....

yeah, odd that. Was driving a mates mkII golf this weekend. It's faded, rusted to f*ck and back, it's slower than treacle, handles like jelly, pulls to the left and rattles more than my 205, but it is neverless very cool. I can't describe why, it just is.

Who do you know?... *ponders*

I haven't had a Victor for ages, mind. When I have a garage to keep one in, I'll have another Ventora, cost irrelevant, condition "as new" or better.

Ah, no-one with one of *those* cars. Just what I've seen...

My dad had a VX2300 many years ago, when I was about 8 or something. I remember I could hardly see over the dash from the front seat; the car seemed huge!

A few cars before that he had a Viva. He's pretty far from being a Goth though lol

Couple of my goth friends are Viva nuts, see...

I love FE Vauxhalls; they're about the nearest you'll get to a 70s pimpmobile in the UK (aside from a real pimpmobile, of course). If Xxybit had been hosting Pimp My Ride UK instead of that Westwood pillock, I'd have tried to get an FE Vauxhall into it, just because I reckon the West Coast Customs guys would have loved it. Imagine it with a pimp gold grille...

Does he like Leonard Cohen? It's a good test...

My dad likes architecture but he drives an Audi A2.

Does that make him a goth?
