has anybody seen that mk1 Capri in Evo magazine every now and then? The

I did have a subscription up until recently so ive seen it's progression but I haven't seen it finished, looked very nice though (for a crapie).

I reckon the other Ed with the R500 will be winning the battle.

of course but I know which one I'd rather be in, in an accident...

Capri with full FIA weld in cage or an R500

maybe, but i would rather not be seen in a Crapie ;)

(says the man who drives a Nova :D )

and you'd probally stand more chance of avoiding the accident in a R500, smaler , lighter, more manoverable

Really is bloody stupid money though. £30 grand last time I looked. Think how much further that would have gone if it wasn't black on the outside and silver on the inside :P.

Not when you work for Evo magazine :-)

Like a Max Power article for older people, substitute Nova for Capri. ;-)

I'd like to see the R500 after a run in with a lorry - splinters of fibre scattered down the road..

Seen the prices they're fetching now? My 2.8i is worth over =A32k.

What's your Nova worth, =A330?

sorry mate, hate to rain on your parade but my nova is worth many times what you're crapie is worth. I suggest you read some of the archives or ask a regular.

if fact , f*ck it.

just keep your eyes peeled for a red nova moving very fast ;)

And a Maybach. Round the Nordschleife. :-)

That must be a scarey experience, the Maybach isn't exactly renowned for it's handling ability...

Any anyway, isn't the track only 12.8 miles long - the car is probably longer than that :)

Apparently it made a rather good job of it (not quite as quick as the new Radical SR1 thingy, mind!)...and it's sat-nav system has the track on it, so you wouldn't get lost going round ;-)

He overtook the new Bentley GT on one of the straights too! 8-o

Hehe, it is ridiculously large!

Actually, the 8 minutes thing was timed by an over-excited Hanns (the chauffeur who drove them out of Stuttgart) - I don't think the real time is ever mentioned?

Seeing as the new production car lap record is 7 mins 19 secs (Radical SR3), which took 14 seconds off the Porsche GT2, I kind of doubt the Maybach could do it in 8 mins...that would be an average lap speed of 96mph, whilst the Radical is only 9mph faster.

Maybe with the new breed of super-limos, there should be a new "Chauffeur F1" class - complete with fat super-exec installed in the back seat ;-)
