I was looking at those signs you say don't exist on the Great Ouse bridge this week.

Your job may be made more difficult because at this time they simply read M62 West/East and something else I forget about. When the bridge is closed they flip over to read "Closed to High Sided Vehicles follow (square)" or in the worst case "Bridge Closed follow (square)".

You can spot that they are not a standard sign because they are divided into rotating planks.

OK, I'll look again. I had been looking for rotating signs as well as that's what I'd assumed they'd turned them into.

Two on the Western side of the bridge, one on the East. I don't know why there's this difference. I questioned the maintenance contractors and they say that for a time the signs had to be rotated by hand, but now they are operated remotely. I'm not sure when this change happened, AFAIR on the day in question they had to be set manually which took an hour to achieve (someone has to drive there from the nearest depot) on Friday they were definitely capable of being operated from Wakefield.

I assume the Eastbound ones are between J35 and J36?
