Bit inappropriate to mention after yesterdays incident on the M52 but I got a 12 seater transit (RWD indeed) very sideways driving home from an office pub crawl.
We got charged for cleaning.
Also we're not welcome back at the last pub we visited (gravel car park = doughnuts in empty minibus....)
those photo's arent very exciting.....
most non rally types say that. all depends if you know which direction i was coming from :)
ROFL!
You're not going quickly enough! ;)
Practice, and sensitivity at the controls (sorry that doesn't help much). Matching the power to the slide is what you need to do, and it does take time.
Probably!
Heh. I generally get back on the power, I wouldn't want to get sideways on any of the pot holed B roads I drive quick on. I know someone who rolled a Scirroco after catching a little pothole...
When I managed that the last time, it was fiddling with the handbrake, left foot braking and on fairly greasy tarmac. The other time it happened I left the B1225 :P.
Heh.
couldnt give a toss if you were coming from above,,,, the photo's are not exciting......
BRS Volvo FL10 with 40ft curtainsider on. Used to do it for a laugh in the BRS yard at Barnsley in winter as it was sheet ice.
alright calm down you miserable git. i know what was happening and i know they were exciting so i couldnt give a toss either.
sorry I've just never found 205 XS to be exciting....
depends what you do with it really. i find yanking the handbrake at 30mph and sliding sideways on opposite lock towards a crazy photographer in a bush is most amusing! and in some of those photos i was '*really* sideways in an FWD car' which is what this post is about, which is why i pointed people that way.
