will give you that amount of powerbut it will cost you around £10k. Why do you want to buy a Fiesta then throwaway another £5k on the engine? Why not just buy something with more powerand a chassis that can handle it and can be easily modified to give you300bhp+, such as a Sunny GTI-R, Lancia Integrale, Subaru Impreza etc. Itwill work out cheaper and be much more reliable. Don't do it, it's money down the drain. Even if you get it there it will be a reliability nightmare. The handling of the Mk3 Fiesta also falls apart under power from a 1.1 engine, so a tuned RS is going to be shoddy to many extremes.

£5000 is enough to buy a 200bhp car that does 0-60 in around 6 seconds (220 turbo) and still have three thousand pounds left over to tune it up to 250bhp. You'll still have *lots* of change left over at the end too.

Wouldn't you rather have a crap old Ford, or a faster, newer, better equipped car that handles 'ok' and will be ten times cheaper to insure ?

Sell the car, and add the money to your current £5000. You've then got £6000 or more, to buy a car that's already fast and reliable, and whatever you buy will be better than a Fiesta.
