Oh oh oohh. The brother was planning on fitting a 225 lump into his corrado until it got stolen (the engine, not the car) Currently runs ~220bhp from a G60 lump with rallye drivetrain with VR6 gears, better ratios apparently

I was tempted to get someone to fit the Rallye 4x4 transmission but it was just going to work out much too expensive.
1.8T is the way to go if you want cheap power and reliability, it would only cost me another £1000ish for a manifold and bigger turbo to get 350bhp+.Join the Discussion
