Mine now soots... after replacing the air mass meter.
It also revs to nearly 5,000 rpm rather than 3,000 rpm. Wonderful multivalve turbodiesel... how many valves does your VAG TDI have per cylinder? :-p
Or if you want to watch it for real get down to Brands Hatch on 4th/5th November.

The 1.9s are all eight valvers that I am aware, but the 2.0 TDI, it's a DOHC
