I assume she will have plenty of choice, she isthinking of things like Clios and Corsas, her family is trying toconvince her on a V plate Rover 200, but I'm sure you can think ofsomething better...

Rover 200, from what I've heard, is a piece of shite, and from what I'veheard of Rovers in general, you don't want to crash one. If I were choosing,I'd look at the Focus, Clio, Civic and Jazz. Focus should be mostentertaining to drive, Clio should be good too, but smaller, and the Hondasare pretty bulletproof.

I disagree.

It may have the best compromised range of engines, but the ride is too harsh and the handling a bit too sloppy.
