I see that surfbuad appears to be a nerdy in joke on the miss spelling of surfboard, but I still want to now what a surfbuad is?
well that was baud ratem, so it would be surfbaud as a play on words. What I want to know is, what is a surfbuad, not a surfbaud?

I think there may be a Surfbaud cable modem attached to my mum's computer. Think it's made by motorola.
It's a sign of a diseased mind. Ken is so obsessed with John Bunt that he feels the need to take on his identity. Since ken is aware that even the sewer providers of Usenet will kick his arse off for forgery he has to change the domain name to surfbuad instead of surfbaud.
Truly sad.
