yanky V8's and insuring a US yank tank?

Yank stuff is stupidly easy to get bits for. Bits are obscenely cheap and freely available for most Yank cars.

Holley 750 CFM, vac sec, 4 barrel carb for example.

I bought one the other week for our Jensen Interceptor (Chrysler 440 engine), off fleabay, needed a rebuild kit, $0.99 on a buy it now. Cost £12.00 to ship it over, and £35 for a rebuild kit and an hour to rebuild it.

Spark plugs - £1.20 each. Oil Filter - £3.00 Brake pads - £10.00 Fully reconditioned auto gearbox, "Torqueflight", £495.00

Cheaper than Jag bits, quicker to arrive, and no hassle dealing with Jag stealerships.

Don't do it. If you want to know what Yank build quality is like take your MR2 apart and put it back together drunk. I'd got the Lexus or a BMW V8. Avoid Jags like the plague.
