Apparently a lot of Liverpool has absolutley no power, even the traffic lights are out, and the coppers are directing traffic in high vis jackets.
You might not hear from Pete M tonight.

don't tell me some scouse nicked the sub stations around town :)
"calm down calm down" :)
Don't laugh, my dad used to work for Manweb and he got called out one night because the power had gone out for a big chunk of Liverpool. He found the problem fairly quickly, some scouse had seen a cable that was clipped to a bridge and decided to steal it for the copper. It was an HT line supplying a big chunk of Liverpool with current. The thief had cut through it with a hand held hacksaw and removed about 1/4 of a mile of armoured copper cable. He should have been converted to a thin smear of greasy carbon but the lucky git didn't even suffer mild burns.
Heh, unlucky folks... It was South Liverpool that had no electrickery. I live in the more "upmarket" end...
As if Liverpool has any upmarket ends. ;-)
oo cheeky :)
What about the traffic in normal, dark jackets? Or can't they see that to direct it?

Yeah it's a nice place to visit I really liked it. Was expecting scumpit but was pleasantly surprised.
Coventry - now there's a shithole. I lived there for 4 years. Damn I love Cheshire.
Dont forget Reading!
