I had a truck with trailer hitch back into me in a parking lot, assume it was a hitch from the dimple it left.
Am wondering if this can be repaired without replacing the whole front bumper.

just get a ballpine hammer and put in a dimple on the other side of the bumper symmetrical to the centerline
I think I'd ask one of those dentless paint removal places. Oh, and don't beat on it with a ball peen hammer please....
instead of the hammer they could saw the dent out or they could put some chewing gum in the dent and the foil from the gum over it.
