05's in at a local dealership.

Freedom Ford in Clearwater Fl got an 05 V6 auto and an 05 GT in two days ago. The GT was sold a week before it got delivered. Went by there today and had a look at it. It's an 05 v6 alright, 5 speed auto at 24K and change.

The color is 'legend lime metallic'. One of those 'hate it!' / 'love it!' colors. Other exterior colors available for 05 are white, torch red, redfire metallic, screaming yellow, black, silver, mineral gray, Sonic blue (YEAH!) and windveil blue metallic, a light icy blue. Which is what that GT at Freedom was. Unfortunately it was not on the lot when I was there so no real life view of that color, looked promising in the brochure though... Sales guy told me no more 05 GT's coming in until christmas.

Yes, I snatched an 05 Mustang Sales brochure. :-)

My dealer has two also. A Legend Lime GT V8 and a Sonic Blue V6. I looked at the GT. Nice. The sticker was nowhere to be found. The salesman told me it said ~ 27.5K, but they'd take 30K *if* it was a local purchase. 35K if it was not. He said they were going for 7-8 K over sticker on ebay. I got a brochure too.

Hmmmmm. Will a big block FE fit between those shock towers????? The 107.1" wheelbase is less than 1" shorter than the 108" wheelbase of the '69. Anyone know how wide the '05 is? The '69 had 58.5" between the front tires. Gotta remember to carry my tape measure next time! I bet there's not enough height in the engine compartment.

NO idea really, stocky guy in his 30's. Friendly enough even tho he realized real early he had no control. :-) But still walked over the lot to see if he could find the GT so I could see the color in real life.

That dealershiup has some decent mechanics. Their SVT certified guy, Bruce is superb and works on the side for a Mustang only speedshop.
