Can some one tell me the correct plugs to use??? My manual says Motorcraft AWSF-32P on the right, and 32PG on the left. That's whats in there now (why 2 different plugs?) I can't get these. The dealer says

32P for both sides @ $7 a pop! Ford online parts call out Motorcraft AGSF32FM! All parts stores call out totally different plus. What gives? Help!

Well, if you don't mind changing plugs every 12 - 18 months then plain old copper is the best way to go. I just picked up a set today at the local O'Reilly's to the tune of about $11.00. Autolite 764's gapped at .054 works great. Be sure to use some anti-seize on the threads and don't tear your knuckles to shreds pulling the boots off.

I'm with Tom on this one: Champion Coppers work great for about a buck each.

I have also had very good results from Champion Platinums at about $2 bucks a piece. I use these in my beater car only. Next time around, all of my cars get them.

Will the engine run as good with $.89 cent copper plugs? Yes. Even better, in my opinion. I change the copper plugs in Charlene every 25k or so, and they still look new when they come out.

If you have a 4.6L V-8, check my website for an easy way to get at #4.
