I've got a spare (used one) for a 97, minus the main gear for the odometer. My original stopped counting the miles and this gear was all that was bad. So if you only need parts we can make a deal.

You can possibly find a 95 Cobra Gauge Cluster on eBay, try 50resto.com also.

Aww, come on Bill. Let's call it what it is: An analog/digital automotive information display unit. I know, all us 'laypersons' just call it an instrument gauge cluster, but this is the 21st century and we need to sound more sophisticated incase E.T. is reading the newsgroup.

This is all in jest. I would have called it the same thing had I been able to post first.

It's called the gauge pod. You can get it at your dealer for about $300 I believe (depends on v6/v8 etc) and they will adjust the mileage to your old one.

Alternative sources are Tim (ping musttanguy) or a junk yard for a used one.

Note though that replacing it you'll have to (at least in Fla) put a sticker that the odometer got changed at date xx, the old oen read xxxx miles and the new one reads yyyy miles. The difference being zzzz miles. If not, it's considered odometer fraud and punishable by quite a few years in jail. You'll also need to get a bill of sale for your replacement one that states the VIN of the car it came from... (thank you Harvey [former Fla DOT/DMV inspecto] for this gem!)

It's called a gauge cluster and can be found at your local Ford dealer, junkyard, on eBay and of course our esteemed Tim (musstanguy) is sure to be able to help you. Check his site at

Does it need to be a working one? I have one with a broken odo and tripmeter and no clear front piece. Otherwise it is working fine.
