Anybody over 6' and driving an SN95

I feel extended when it is all the way back. I know what you mean though when you talk about your legs being splayed out. I get the feeling sometimes that I am on a *sit-&-spin*. But with the seat reclined back, I do very well in the drivers seat.

It rides real nice though. I wish I had the bigger engine. Mine has the 3.3 Flex Fuel motor.

Mine has the 3.8 V6. We bought this van new, in '97. A few years went by, and then at 42,000 miles the timing chain broke and subsequently sending a valve through the top of the piston, and that piston's rod through the block. Chrysler stepped up and put another 3.8 engine into it, and I now have a total of 145,000 on the vehicle, but 102,000 on the motor.The replacement motor has ran just fine, and the only thing done to it other than a new timing belt @ 80,000 (preventative, not needed but...) was the fuel injector high-pressure rail started leaking while on vacation, and that particular repair was covered under Recall. That recall saved me $645 ;)

I get around 330 miles per tank, city, and 360 on highway. Those numbers are with a/c, front and rears, on full. Here in NC, a/c is a must. I have noticed a slight deviance in the idle lately, and will be having the injectors serviced here shortly.

My battery light had been coming on lately...intermittnetly. I had the battery tested and it was fine. Pulled the alternator out and it was fine. That is when I discovered that it has an external regulator. In addition to that, the regulator is part of the PCM. I dread to think what I am going to have to end up spending.

I'd go ahead and start searching/watching those on eBay. You might want to call a couple salvage yards and see what they're asking so you can get a base cost, that way you'll know what they'll be costing locally and wwwebbed. But there is some good news: If my battery light ever flashes at me, I'll know what it is ;)

Now, that might not help you, but it is just one more thing to lock away in this ol' head of mine...

Yes, you can modify the seat by removing the seat from the car, the rail from the seat, and moving it back on it's mount. I did it on my 98 GT and gave myself about 2" of more legroom.
