I just bought a 2004 Cobra, i hear that the actual horsepower rating is higher than stated by ford. it is more like 425HP? is this so?

Yes they were under rated. Many put down 360-380 rwhp which equates to a 425-450 hp factory rating.

HP rating is a lot like a pecker...... it's not how big it is, it's how you use it.
