Convertible Top Protection?

Question

I just bought a 2001 GT Convertible, black on black.. I was wondering whatpeople recommend as a protectant to use if any for the top?Thanks-Rick

I would'nt put anything on it. Especially anything containing silicone as it might yellow it with time. Simple soap and water to clean and nothing to protech. Just make sure you clean any bird droppings, tree sap or any other contaminant on it quick as these acidic dirts can cause staining if left on for extended period of time.
