Deceptive gas station tactics

LOL, go right ahead! The honest truth is I don't give a flying f*ck what you say about me or to me. Be my guest and do your worst if its so important to you. I guarantee it's a waste of time.

I was genuinely trying to give you a useful tip. So much for that. Your impulse is to be defensive when defense is not necessary (is it ever?).

Now Larry, let it go. We don't want a repeat of Nathan and Troy.

Sometimes it's easy to take something the wrong way when it's in type instead of being said; and even if it's an insult, sometimes it's best just to let it slide.

Besides, the weather is great for riding in our Mustangs (unless you live in southern California - 102 degrees today - damned!), so let's go burn some dead dinosaurs and have fun!

Correction, it won't get you anywhere in this newsgroup. It'll get you plenty of places in real life. Defensive driving might actually save your life, whereas offensive driving will most likely get you arrested, hurt, maimed, or killed.

Of course, we're talking different types of 'defensiveness'.

Hey Ralph! Speak for yourself!

Yes we do want a repeat of Nathan and Troy (The sad part is these two guys are two matured and civil to go down to that level anyway)

If your REALLY miss them, you can always google their posts.

I know Nathan moved to Alaska (they must not have an ISP where he lives), but what happened to Troy? Did he get hit with a deflamation suit or did he just get hit (by a truck)?

Great cruising weather today - high 70's, just enough high clouds to give a break from the sun occasionally, bright blue sky - it's great to live on the front range!

Hear, hear! I washed and prepped Charlene up today for a 4-hour run up California's Hwy 49 from Auburn to Jackson. Tomorrow, I drive. HARD. I'm going to enjoy the SHIT out of my Bridgestone 730's and Bullitt Suspension, and plan to stop to a great burger joint along the way in Angel's Camp to chew on some tasty cow meat, eat fries and suck down one big, fat ass soda. Welcome to America!

A few problems with this, of course. Fuel being what it is, will run me $2.15/gal. for this occasion. As I am now unemployed (and loving it!) I can afford it, for now. And since I just spent $7000 on extractions and orthodontic braces, chewing all that cow meat and potatoes dredged in grease will be rather *painful*. Want to lose 50 lbs in a hurry? Get braces. :(

But, I'll be loving it! (I think. Crap. Someone talk me outta this.) The only thing that would make it a perfect day would be a good woman, sitting beside me with the window down, enjoying both the respite and the sunny day. Looks not important -character is. Forget sex and marriage - just good times.
