choosing mufflers is more of a personal opinion. There really isnt one muffler that is really better than another. I suggest you visit

listen to the soundclips and pick what sounds best to you. Or maybe talkto some local mustang owners and listen to there cars and find something youlike. Most people recommend buying stainless steel mufflers as to resistmufflers then again others say its a waste of money.

I agree mustangexhaust.com helped me figure out what I wanted. I got a bbk x-pipe, with cats, with american thunder catback, flowmaster, but not the deltas too quite . lol cobraboy 97 convert

I am assuming stock engine: If so forget the flowmasters, they sound good around town but at highway speed they drone so as to make your brain flow out your ears. I have an 88GT convertible and I bought into the hype as well. In my case I lost a lot of bottom end torque and damm near my girl friend, I then tried equal length 2.5 inch turbo's, they were quieter but still droned under load. I finally went to Midas where they installed application specific 2.25 unequal length turbo's. The car is a lot quieter and it pulls even better than before on the low end. (I think the part numbers are 9004 & 9005 for the mufflers)
