fiberglass panels for Fox body

I've got an 89 Fox body (hatch) that I'm going to retore oth body and mechanicals on



I see there are a number of fiberglass panel manfg's out there. Who makes good stuff and whose is junk?



I'm thinking of fenders, hood, doors and hatch all going glass.

Do NOT buy ANYTHING from Cincinnati Composites!!

They have the absolute WORST quality stuff.

I agree! My cincy composites hood broke through my hood pins and busted out my windshield, denting the roof of my car at half track, at only

108mph... Not to mention the piss poor finish and fitment.

katmandu - are you on the columbusracing or cincystreetscene sites? The nick sounds familiar. This is blupastu408w btw.

Or any of their other names. Basicly when it comes to fiberglass you get what you payfor.

As for the hatch I would do your best to find a steel one first. I had a fiberglass hatch and hated it. The weight of the rear glass is to much for the fiberglass. Every time I tried to shut the hatch it felt like one of two things was going to happen. a) the thing was going to break at the bottom of the window (weakest point) or b) the glass was going to pop out from the flex. I forget what brand it was, but it was one of the better ones at the time. I know we bought it thru Dugan Racing.
