Motorcraft 5W-20 "synthetic blend" for break-in...?

I am about to change the oil on my new Stang.... has about 600 miles onit... went to the dealer and they recommended I get the Motorcraft"synthetic blend" 5W-20. Normally it is not a good idea to use any type of"synthetic" oil during the break-in period... but the dealer claims thatthis is the exact oil that FORD puts in brand new engines and recommends itfor all use. I hope the dealer is telling me the correct thing. I amtempted to put some other brand of non-synthetic oil in the engine for thenext say 1,500 miles until the engine is truly "broken in", then switch backto the Motorcraft synthetic blend after that. However, I would prefer tofollow the dealer recommendation if indeed I can determine whether or notthey are correct. Any thoughts?

I know. Same here. It's about $5 almost everywhere else. So yeah, I get mine at WallyWorld. As I do with the Motorcraft oil filters. They are the cheapest with those as well. $2.77 for an FL-400S. Versus $2.98 for the Fram Suregrip equivalent.
