Mustang GT Tires

If anyone is looking for a new tire to try, I am very happy with the Pirelli PZero Nero M&S tire that I just bought.

I first had the Goodyear Eagles 245/45/zr17 that came with it: pretty good and predictable on dry, poor wet traction, bad hydroplaning. I guess this was about what was expected.

Next I had a set of BF Goodrich KDWS 245/45/zr17. These were not as good dry but decent. Better wet traction, not as bad hydroplaning. They ride a little rough, especially after 20,000 miles. Another complaint is that these tires seem to "track" really bad. What I mean by this is that when the road is at all uneven, the tires tend to pull you or steer you with the imperfections. It was actually quite annoying. I paid 140/tire at Costco.

Now I just bought new rear tires (the Pirelli's) and I am impressed with them so far. The dry traction is great, the wet traction is great, not sure about the hydroplaning yet. They ride really quite and smooth. Also, I put

275/40/WR17 on the rears this time. I like the way this looks for the rear tires and the car feels much more secure when accelerating in a turn. I worked a great deal for these at discount tire at $145/pair. They were asking for 185/pair.
