New alternator conversion

I need some help in wiring up a new 3G alternator. I've read several articles, but to no avail in my particular situation. The problems I have are thyis:

On my old 75amp, I have the plug for the alternator output wires (the 2 black/orange wires), and on that plug, is a piece of a white/black wire, that I assume is the stator wire. I haven't used that wire ever, and have cut it everytime I've replaced the alt. On the D-shaped 3-wire plug, the one black wire is also cut, and has never been used, leaving the (I think..)yellow and green wires. Is this the wire (black wire on 3-wire plug) that connects to the stator wire (white/blk) on the 3G (1-wire plug)? Or am I just missing something here?

Thanks for any help you guys can give me on this.

I don't have the answer. I am upping my 65amp to between 95 and 140 formy 65FB. I am looking at one from PA Performance, and they were very good about takign the time to explain some of the things I questioned. You might contact them... I THINK it's

The two large black/orange go to the power lug terminal on the rear of the alternator and the white/black wire will go to the single spade connector for the stator. The plug going to the voltage regulator is the same as that of the 3G's and plugs right in as is. I have an install guide in the TECHNICAL section of our website (see below) which outlines the above connections.

I understand the part about the 2 blk/oange wires are going to be placed together on the lug terminal (though, I've been told to upgrade to 4 awg wire and bypass these). The real question is where does the white/black wire hook to on my car FROM the alternator connector? I've never used that wire, even on my stock 75 amp model. Do I need to run a wire to something on the car, or is it part of the 3-wire harness (like the black wire that's also not in use)?

Thanks,

The white/black wire comes from the center position of the regulator connector and connects to the single spade stator terminal on the 3G. Originally, this wire jumpers from the regulator plug (center position) to the flat power plug.
