No, not too bad. I just need to make sure that I fire it up often enough to clear out the server so that the "important" email gets through. :)

Damn, nice looking start......A 70 GS by the file name............Rollcage looks like it is set up for more than drag racing..............We building a road racer out of a 1970 Buick GS??????? If so, who did your suspension design and fabrication???????Inquiring minds want to know.

It's not mine yet - not a road racer, just a 10 point drag cage (Art Morrison). I've given the owner (a friend of mine who already has a Buick race car) a deposit. Our house closes in a week, so I can't be making any big purchases. It's a GS350 set up for a 455 and a TH400. The person who started setting it up years ago blew up his motor before making it to the track. Luckily it still is very original other than the cage. The console is in beautiful shape and is currently sitting in the trunk. I'll put it back together after doing some prep work and painting it, with help from a friend, then I'll put it all back together. I hope to have it out next year, although it likel won't go better than 12's.

The front suspension is like new, the only "racey" thing are Comp Engineering drag shocks all around. The rest is stock stuff. The rear is a

12 bolt Chev rebuilt with 4.11's and a Moroso Brute Strength posi. It's missing a front bumper and the rear bumper isn't really any good. The guy I'm getting it from is throwing in the bumpers and other miscellaneous things it needs... except the grill. Those are spendy, so I'll have to keep an eye out for those for a while. I'll just put a Skylark grill in it.

With the new house, I'll have the place to work on it, but of course the money will be tighter.

Are you sure about that? This is in your posts headers (check the 2nd line!)

From: "A Guy Named Steve" Reply-To: "A Guy Named Steve" Looks like you may have to munge the Reply-To: line as well for it to work...

Speaking of Pop-Ups...I found a browser about 6 months ago that I absolutely love. I blocks pop-ups and has a tab layout so you always only have one window open with several tabs for different sites. The program is based on Microsoft Internet Explorer and looks pretty much the same, just with some cool features added.

Interesting, I thought I had the reply to line covered as well... back to work I go, I guess.

Yup, looks like it. :-) This is what it shows now:

From: "A Guy Named Steve" Reply-To: "A Guy Named Steve"

Note that in the 'From:' line you have a . (period) between gs350 and earthlink and in the 'Reply-To: line you do not. If this is intentional, just ignore this paragraph. ;-)

The first time, it was me not paying attention to the reply to address.

This time, once again it was me not getting the period in there - not that it *should* make a difference.

I'll fix it for consistency, if nothing else.

Something strange has happened since installing that AVG virus program... All of a sudden Photoshop won't finish loading for me and I have some shutdown problems too.

I took it back to the restore point that I created prior to downloading the AVG program, and now Photoshop works again. I wonder if there's some sort of incompatibility problem with Photoshop

5.0.2????

I used the free online virus checks at various sites. RAV was the ONLY one to find all the viruses. I have Norton and AVG running all the time, and they didn't find shit . YMMV.
