Old School 351 in 97'

Has anyone done a engine swap from a 4.6 to a 351 or 460. I would love to put an old school motor in my 97' and am looking for information on others that have done it. Who the hell needs a computer in a car anyway! Brakes, ignition, tranny, linkage, and go........------->

Thanks in advance....!

Why would you want to do that? The computer controlled engines are more efficient, and the computer adapts to the current conditions. Fore example, if you are in an area where the air is thinner, the computer adapts. Also, it can adjust the timing on the fly. The computer controlled engine is much better in my opinoin.

If the swap is done and the smog station doesn't pass the car then kill the attendants when they have their backs to you then fill out the paperwork yourself. There. Your car is now emissions legal. Efficiency does not apply in the hot rodding world, for the most part. Just in the riceburner world is where fuel econmy is a concern. ;o)
