Q: No '05 Convertible?

Nov 02, 2004 3 Replies

Hello!

Maybe someone in the virtual world knows the actual reason that Ford will not be offering an '05 Mustang Convertible, as the dealerships do not. All I can get is a timeframe anywhere from next summer to the 2007 model year for its introduction.

Any ideas?

I heard 05 Convertible coming early 06. Does anyone have pictures or even spy shots of the new convertible?

The convertible will debut spring/summer 2005. The only reason for the holdup, that I'm aware of, was to get the production up for the line on the models with the highest demand: V6 and coupes. The 'verts don't require the same volume, especially in fall/winter so their Job 1 was pushed back so that higher demand units could make it on the lots.
