Did you check your fuel pressure?

The Stage 1 TFS cam is not much different than a host of other good EFI cams out there. It is NOT causing your car to run rich. The cam has nothing to do with air/fuel mixture. You most likely have a maf / computer / fuel pressure problem.

You said "24#/hr injectors and matching MAF, BBK shorties, etc". Does this mean you got a MAF that was CALIBRATED to 24# injectors?? If not, you're running 25% rich.

Which EEC are you using for the MAF conversion..?

Now, HOW did you do the conversion to MAF on your car? Did you use the Ford Racing conversion kit? Did you just source an EEC and rewire/repin everything yourself? Is there voltage going to the MAF? I think I *might* have an idea what it is, but that depends on the answer to these questions. I want to know everything you did for the MAF swap first.

Helmut Roner Near stock 1988 GT that runs "gooder" than your '86 with all them mods.

The MAF conversion was done using separate components and the appropriate pins were relocated and MAF harness installed by yours truly. I believe I have checked for voltage at the MAF, but I can't remember now. I do remember an incident where one of the MAF pins lost contact when I was a few miles from home. Now *that* caused some rich running, let me tell you! If that's the rich scenario you're thinking of, I'm not running that rich. Man, my cats were smokin' after only a few miles on that day.

Brian '86 that runs so well, it'll br> Now, HOW did you do the conversion to MAF on your car? Did you use the Ford

Did you remember to remove the hose going to the MAP sensor on the firewall? If not, you have to remove that hose and cap off the port under the upper plenum. The MAP is now serving as the BAP. Have you inspected each and every vacuum hose around the engine bay?

Yes, the hose was removed and every vacuum line has been inspected. All caps are in place.
