The 53 & 54 had a 235 ci 6 cylinder, 55 & 56 had a 265 ci engine, 57 thru 61 had 283, 62 thru 64 had 327 .and in 65 you could get the first big block

Greetings,

Thanks to all the helpful replies.

Why would i like to own a Vette? Well if you lived in England and had to drive the shit that we put up with, you wouldn't need to ask!! 1.3 liter Nissan Sunny "Hurl". Second, it's a an American car with a V8, nuff said!! Third, you guys have helped many times in the past, and would know a lot more about Vettes and other US cars than i do.

Finally, i don't suscribe to all this bullshit about Chevy hating or Mopar bashing, for me if it's American, has a V8 and a wheel at each corner I am all for it.

Cheers guys,

JohnP.
