Hi all. I did a search through this group and on Google for this info, but could not find anything -- although it would seem it should be a simple/common thing to accomplish.
I need to replace the shift indicator in my '89 w/AOD. How do I remove the T-handle so that I can just slide the old shift indicator up and off and put the new one on? I don't see a set screw anywhere. Does it just pop off or what? I'm sure I could remove it if I knocked it around enough, but I'm trying not to destroy it or other parts in the process. Seems like this should be something rather simple to do. Thanks!
